Wacky Wednesdays 25th July

Wacky Wednesday's at Almouj Golf continue to grow in popularity, the 9 hole Stableford roll up is proving to be the ideal way to take advantage of the cooler afternoon temperatures and ease players into the golfing weekend. 

The event on the 25^th was well attended and the scoring was equally as notable. On any other week Michael Lenarduzzi's fine score of 18 points would have been good enough to have taken the title but on the day it was an outstanding 22 points from Steve Morris that took the honours. Steve's round started with steady net pars at holes 1 and 2 before he failed to score any points on the relatively straightforward par 5 3^rd hole. At this point Steve's round could have easily ground to a halt but instead he rallied strongly finishing with net birdies on the remaining 6 holes.

Wacky Wednesday's are open to all Handicap holding Members and Guests, the entry fee is a sleeve of Titleist golf balls.
