    October Chedi Medal 5th October 2013

    October 5th 2013 – The first of the golfing season’s medal was played on Saturday the 5th of October. Although we are in October the temperatures still felt as though we were in the middle of the summer!     Sunday 15 September saw the re-launch for our beginner golfers to one of our ladies mornings playing on our Par 3 Academy Course.     10th August 2013 – To celebrate the 4th and final Major of the year Almouj Golf combined its regular Monthly Medal with a slice of the action from the USGPA at Oak Hill to create The Chedi Muscat USPGA Medal for August.  Read more...

    July 27th 2013 – A late edition to the summer golfing calendar, adding further variety to the fold in the form of a PowerPlay Challenge. The usual format is to position two pin positions on each green, rewarding the golfer who takes on the challenge of the more difficult hole location. Following a similar format we reversed the challenge by offering two teeing grounds for the golfer to choose from. With a normal tee and a PowerPlay tee, which presented a slightly more tricky approach to the hole, the golfers were rewarded with a free stroke when choosing the latter option. Playing a shortened 14 hole version of the Championship Course the player with the highest number of stableford points would claim the victory.  Read more...
